betsoo Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") is issued by betsoo ("betsoo", "we", "us", "our") and applies to all personal data collected from individuals ("you", "Player", "User") who access or use the betsoo online gaming platform at betsoo.one, including all associated services, games, promotions, and mobile-optimized interfaces.

betsoo is a PAGCOR-licensed online gaming operator serving Filipino players across the Philippines — from Manila and Makati to Cebu, Davao, Quezon City, and beyond. As a data controller under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173, "DPA"), betsoo is responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing the personal data we collect.

betsoo collects the following categories of personal data from players, depending on the nature of their interaction with the platform:

betsoo does not collect sensitive personal information such as race, religion, health data, or political opinions, except where explicitly required by PAGCOR regulations (for example, responsible gaming self-exclusion declarations).

betsoo collects personal data through the following means:

• Direct collection: Data you provide when registering a betsoo account, completing KYC verification, making deposits or withdrawals, contacting customer support, or responding to surveys and promotions;

• Identity verification (KYC): Verifying your identity and age (21+ compliance) as required by PAGCOR and Philippine anti-money laundering law;

betsoo will not use your personal data for any purpose not listed above without your explicit consent or a valid legal basis under the DPA.

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, betsoo processes personal data on the following legal bases:

• Contractual necessity: Processing required to perform the contract between you and betsoo (i.e., operating your gaming account, processing transactions);
• Legal obligation: Processing required to comply with applicable Philippine laws including PAGCOR regulations, AMLA, and the DPA itself;
• Legitimate interests: Processing for fraud prevention, platform security, and responsible gaming monitoring, where these interests are not overridden by your privacy rights;
• Consent: Processing for optional marketing communications and certain cookie categories — you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

betsoo does not sell your personal data. We may share your data with the following categories of recipients only as necessary and under appropriate data protection safeguards:

• PAGCOR and Philippine regulatory authorities: As required under betsoo's gaming license and applicable law;
• Payment processors: GCash, PayMaya, BPI, BDO, Metrobank, and card network processors to execute financial transactions;
• KYC and identity verification providers: Third-party services that verify player identity and screen against government and PAGCOR exclusion lists;
• Game suppliers: Licensed game studios (e.g., Pragmatic Play, PG Soft, Jili) receive session tokens and game-specific data necessary to deliver games — they do not receive your full profile;

betsoo uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the betsoo.one platform. Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help us deliver a better experience. betsoo uses the following cookie categories:

• Strictly necessary cookies: Required for platform functionality — login sessions, security tokens, payment processing. Cannot be disabled.
• Performance cookies: Collect anonymized analytics data (page load times, error rates, navigation paths) to help us improve the betsoo platform. Can be disabled.
• Functional cookies: Remember your preferences such as language settings and game lobby view. Can be disabled.
• Marketing cookies: Used only where you have given explicit consent to receive targeted promotional content. Can be disabled at any time via your account settings.

betsoo retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Our standard retention periods are as follows:

• Active account data: Retained for the duration of your betsoo account plus a minimum of five (5) years post-closure, as required by Philippine AML regulations;
• KYC documentation: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of last transaction, per AMLA requirements;
• Transaction records: Retained for five (5) years from the date of each transaction;
• Support communications: Retained for two (2) years from the date of the interaction;
• Technical and log data: Retained for up to twelve (12) months for security and fraud investigation purposes.

After the applicable retention period, personal data is securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with betsoo's data disposal procedures.

betsoo implements a comprehensive set of technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include:

• 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and betsoo servers;
• Encryption at rest for sensitive data stored in betsoo databases;
• Multi-factor authentication for betsoo system access by internal staff;
• Role-based access controls ensuring staff can only access personal data relevant to their job function;
• Regular third-party penetration testing and security audits;
• Real-time fraud monitoring and anomaly detection systems;
• Regular staff training on data protection, phishing awareness, and security protocols.

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the following rights regarding your personal data held by betsoo:

• Right to be Informed: You have the right to know that betsoo collects and processes your personal data, for what purposes, and on what legal basis;
• Right of Access: You may request a copy of the personal data betsoo holds about you and information about how it is processed;
• Right to Rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data. For account details, you can update many items directly in your betsoo account profile;
• Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You may request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for its original purpose, subject to betsoo's legal obligations to retain certain records;
• Right to Object: You may object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes at any time. You may also object to other processing where betsoo relies on legitimate interests as the legal basis;
• Right to Data Portability: You may request a machine-readable copy of personal data you provided to betsoo, to transfer to another service provider;
• Right to Lodge a Complaint: If you believe betsoo has violated your privacy rights, you may lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines.

To exercise any of these rights, contact betsoo's Data Protection Officer using the details in Section 14. We will respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by the DPA.

betsoo's services are strictly for individuals who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older, in compliance with PAGCOR regulations governing online gambling in the Philippines. betsoo does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 21 years of age.

If betsoo becomes aware that a player account has been created by a person under 21, the account will be immediately suspended, all funds returned, and the personal data deleted except where retention is required by law for AML investigation purposes. Some of betsoo's service providers — including game studios and platform technology vendors — may process personal data on servers located outside the Philippines. Where such international transfers occur, betsoo ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place as required by the Data Privacy Act, including contractual data protection clauses that bind the recipient to standards equivalent to RA 10173.

betsoo will not transfer personal data to jurisdictions that do not provide an adequate level of data protection without implementing appropriate legal mechanisms and notifying the National Privacy Commission where required.

betsoo may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data practices, applicable law, or regulatory requirements. When we make material changes, we will notify registered players by email and via an in-platform notification at least seven (7) days before the updated Policy takes effect.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Policy was most recently revised. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Your continued use of betsoo following the effective date of a revised Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

All previous versions of this Privacy Policy are archived and available upon request from our DPO.
